This part can be used together with phage Lambda gpD insertion homology region 2 to insert regions in the phage Lambda genome. Phage Lambda is known to have high recombination rate [source]. To improve the recombination rate the Lambda red system can be used [source]. To select for recombinants a CRISPR-Cas counterselection system is recommended [source].
